Bu...That is an interesting point realtimedracula. <br /><br />But I think for the most part it was just the poetic imagery. Like Ana says, just picturing a pale, beautiful, porcelain face with red tears slowly flowing down is in itself, beautiful. To me it shows that even beings that are so gifted in their living forever, being incredibly beautiful and strong are still subject to imperfections.Mermaidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16598744274151010889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426681625888949406.post-30029189523805599722009-08-27T03:29:33.047+01:002009-08-27T03:29:33.047+01:00Interesting. Can you imagine if the tears of humans represented what they consumed/drank? Blech :)Celestehttp://a99kitten.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426681625888949406.post-77837053554392478262009-08-25T17:32:29.336+01:002009-08-25T17:32:29.336+01:00I want a bumper sticker that says "Real vampi...I want a bumper sticker that says "Real vampires don't cry... blood"<br /><br />I think the idea, aside from being poetic imagery, derives from the idea that vampires' bodies transmit blood through some form of osmosis. They ingest it yet it gets to their blood stream (without any digestive processes in most cases).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426681625888949406.post-71927113592874686562009-08-25T17:25:13.459+01:002009-08-25T17:25:13.459+01:00Everybody knows that female Dwarfs are indistingui...Everybody knows that female Dwarfs are indistinguishable to anybody including other Dwarfs.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426681625888949406.post-74292239265149090442009-08-25T17:04:35.912+01:002009-08-25T17:04:35.912+01:00Very nicely put, Barbara.Very nicely put, Barbara.Ana Revenanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02028779146011353702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426681625888949406.post-19461136392255452672009-08-25T16:57:34.469+01:002009-08-25T16:57:34.469+01:00This reminds me somewhat of such questions as &quo...This reminds me somewhat of such questions as "Do fantasy dwarven woman have beards? Or did Adam and Eve have navels?" There is poetry in the idea of blood tears, however. It imparts a sense of humanity to the fictional creatures in question as well as makes us ask if any remorse is pure, or is it always tinted with sin?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3426681625888949406.post-37074604799568036192009-08-25T15:54:09.324+01:002009-08-25T15:54:09.324+01:00I for one appreciate the information from someone ...I for one appreciate the information from someone who has a little knowledge of these things. Thanks for your opinion, but you'll note that I am not the one who says it makes no biological sense...it's a quote. There are plenty of individuals who have written these things before me. Maybe these tears are generated by FICTION! Its a freakin' story, who cares if it makes biological sense or not?! Seriously... its a pretty image... let it remain so and stop over analyzing a work of fiction. (Are you gonna pull apart comic books now too? Maybe video games... Oh! Lets do zombies!)Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01687586901497028829noreply@blogger.com
